An Old Favorite: Dame de Paris by Salim Langatta July 2007

I came across this Harper's Bazaar Russia (July 2007) editorial from last year recently and it reminded me how much I loved it! It's so beautiful and the colors are amazing, it's all just so lush. I love the photo of Serafima, with her back to us, on a statue is so romanticist of Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly that I could swoon. I just want to be living the story this editorial tells. I also really adore the recreation of the Blessed Mother photograph; In fact it is currently my Mac's background.
Absolute perfection.

Those photos are really gorgeous. I also love the Audrey Hepburn-esqu photo. Perhaps because of your recent Mischa-as-fairy post, it reminds me of these books I used to have as a little girl with different fairies for different trees and flowers.
