A Celebrity Moment: Leighton Meester at the CBS/CW/Showtime Party in Hollywood July 18th

<span class=

It's no secret that I am utterly obsessed with Leighton Meester. Well, OK, I'm obsessed with her character, Blair Waldorf. But since Gossip Girl has become the darling of TV Leighton's style has morphed from wannabe starlet to sophisticated New Yorker. Thank God!
She looks absolutely stunning in this Zac Posen Pre-Fall 08 mini-dress don't you think? I love how structured the design is and also that it fits her like a glove. My only critique is that I wouldn't have worn plain black stiletto pumps...I would have gone with a bright blue shoe to make the ensemble pop!
While co-star Blake Lively is being compared to The OC's Mischa Barton, Leighton is happily staying somewhat under the radar with comparison's to the OC's Rachel Bilson. And I'd like it to stay that way. Blake is getting much too overexposed and she's far less talented and stylish than Leighton in my (humble) opinion.
I'm not sure I can stand waiting for the September 1st premiere of Gossip Girl...especially since avoiding spoilers is becoming nearly impossible thanks to the paparazzi stalking the set

I Must Have This. I Must Have This Now...

Yes, that is a cartoon Karl Lagerfeld t-shirt. Yes, it is awesome. Strangely, it's from Urban Outfitters. It's also on sale and therefore nearly completely sold out. If you go to their website it's now available only in extra-small...big surprise right?
So I called all three MA Urban Outfitters locations and found it in a medium at the last store I called! I am crazy excited! Hopefully it will be long enough and not too tight around the shoulders but even if it is I don't really care because I love it.  Especially his pink little kissy mouth!
That is one of my best shopping tips. If the website is sold out of something you love call the stores locations in your area and ask for it in your size. If the store has it they'll usually ship it directly to you at the same shipping price as the website. Also, sometimes the price in store is different from the price online (example: this Karl t-shirt is on sale for $19.99 on the website. In store it's $9.99 which means my total including shipping was only $17.80--had I ordered it online it would have been closer to $30.)
So, now I just have to wait 7-10 business days before I can be a walking homage to my one true love!
