In My Life, The Beatles:

There are places i'll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends i still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life i've loved them all

Clothing saved, cherished, and still worn from over the years- my grandmother's gold diamond necklace, Miss Sixty jean jacket bought in Italy when I was 16, my mom's coral jewelry from the 70s (still in style), and my college graduation dress from 2 years ago that I wore last week- time and memories (old and new) makes up my style!

Lady Gaga, "Fashion"

Fashion, put it all on me.
Don't you want to see these clothes on me?

It's what I model walk to in my Ipod, as I walk these bleary Pittsburgh streets.

Oh this is tough because my style changes so much on a day to day basis! To me, style is all about confidence so I think Kellie Pickler's Red High Heels is a good song to demonstrate my inspiration for a night out:

Well you said so yourself
You know the deal
Nobody holds a candle to me
In my red high heels

'I use my dress

-because my style is casual, and I don't care what's on a mannequin in a window.

One song that inspires my style would have to be "Meet Virginia" by train. I love the way he thinks she beautiful even though she's just being herself.

"She doesn't own a dress,
Her hair is always a mess,
You catch her stealin' and she won't confess, she beautiful..."

'I can't help myself,
I'm addicted to a life of material
It's some kind of joke
I'm obsessively opposed to the typical
All we care about is runway models
Cadillacs and liquor bottles
Give me something I wanna be
Retro glamor Hollywood, yes we live for the fame.'

"The Fame" by Lady Gaga - whenever I hear this song I feel like I should be wearing something sparkly and fabulous!

Tiny Dancer, Elton John

"Blue jean baby, L.A. lady, seamstress for the band
Pretty eyed, pirate smile, you'll marry a music man
Ballerina, you must have seen her dancing in the sand
And now she's in me, always with me, tiny dancer in my hand"

Elton John is so classic, there is a song for every one of my moods. Tiny Dancer is perfect for when I'm standing in front of my closet searching for some fresh inspiration.

I'm seeing (at least) 2 great looks for these jeans: First, for a night out, with high heeled "shooties," a vest, teased hair with a skinny headband, and a gray smokey eye. Look number 2 is more casual, for errands or going to class: White converse, white v-neck tee, layered pendant necklaces, simple eye makeup, but pink lips!

Thanks for running such a great contest!

Golden Touch by Razorlight:

I know a girl with the golden touch
She's got enough, she's got too much
But I know, you wouldn't mind
You could have it all if you wanted
You could have it all if it mattered so much

I would have to say "I got a feeling" by Black Eyed Peas:

Lets paint the town
We’ll shut it down
Let’s burn the roof
and then we’ll do it again

These jeans would be perfect for going out and having a great time!!

These words and song are so twirly and happy it is a reminder that the best accessory a woman can own is a big smile.

KT Tunstall's "Suddenly I See"

"Her face is a map of the world
Is a map of the world
You can see she's a beautiful girl
She's a beautiful girl
And everything around her is a silver pool of light
The people who surround her feel the benefit of it
It makes you calm
She holds you captivated in her palm"

The song reminds me of so many fantastic fashion bloggers who aren't afraid of wearing something "a little out there" because they rock their outfits with confidence. They inspire me to be comfortable with who I am and express myself no matter what others may think.

Wear these clothes/
walk this way/
do exactly what they say/
it's your life/
but their way/
follow me it's all the same

- "Scene Change," The White Tie Affair

It describes my style because I try to stay away from trends and what magazines/tv are telling me to wear. I wear what I like, only me.

John Lennon's "Imagine" is one of the most heartfelt songs ever.
"You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one."

Of course the song is about peace, but I could twist the first two lines to explain my dreaming and my style. I'm also inspired by this song because I could never buy jeans that cost three figures. There are more important things, but I can still dream.

"look at her

-"look at her" by the peasantry

sweet and sentimental lyrics. translates to my style because it makes me think of my high school sweetheart and being comfortable and confident expressing myself to others; i like to express myself through fashion.
