I know a lot of people were sour with Giambattista Valli this season but I am not one of them!
It included everything I love- ruffles, mini dresses, feathers, sparkle, and great shapes.
What more can you ask for?

The Bostonista: Do people (like your friends) actually just call you Stam? Does it annoy you when fangirls do?
Jess_Stam: I get both! :)
Okay so its not much-and its via her official twitter- but I freaked out that I got a response!
Did you watch the Louis Vuitton show live on facebook?
Marc always knows how to put on a show!
But, man, those afros were distracting!
Looking past the poor styling here are the looks I actually liked at Louis Vuitton:
And the look that I LOVED!:
There was a great color palate and amazing cuts and fits. It was a real spring collection that was fun and flirty and very wearable.
Except for the shoes.

I don't know much about the collaboration because it hasn't been officially announced but certain high-end locations on the Disney property are carrying a limited edition collection of Dooney & Bourke for Disney.
Rumor has it that the three locations on property are almost entirely sold out of all three styles and most likely won't be getting another shipment- but you can still get in on the action by calling the Disney Merchandise number: 1-407-363-6200
I felt that I graduated from the world of Dooney & Bourke and Coach when I graduated from high school but my Disney obsession is so huge that I'm almost lured by the adorable pattern!
If you are as drawn to the bags as I am you can call or you can check out the Disney Parks-so far they are unavailable online!
$45 for the wristlette
$150 for the smaller bag with the crossbody strap
$175 for the larger tote

I know its been said before but he truly is Alexander the Great!
McQueen is a master of theatrics and here he created a story about transformation while transforming the way we view fashion- by streaming the show live on SHOWstudio.com
McQueen, according to an internal logic detailed in a press release, was casting an apocalyptic forecast of the future ecological meltdown of the world: Humankind is made up of creatures that evolved from the sea, and we may be heading back to an underwater future as the ice cap dissolves.Reptile prints dominated with moments of sleek leather and foamy sheer fabrics.
I love that he turned the human form into something grotesque (like the shoes that created a hoof/claw hybrid silhouette) but still found beauty in that form.
Despite the drama he's still a superior craftsman, plus he makes a lot of his own materials, so everything is beautifully constructed and fitted. When the "show" is peeled away he's a master tailor and these pieces will sell.
I have nothing bad to say about Chanel SS 2010.
I want to live and die in it!
Well, okay, I could have done without the platform clogs.
But I'm saving up for that sweet white bag!
Other than the odd Christmas decor I adored the set as I've always pictured myself at Le Petit Trianon!
Lily Allen, a face of Chanel, also performed while the girls walked the runway. If you haven't seen Lily live you definitely should! I saw her live back in March and she's amazing!

Alber Elbaz is one of my favorite designers but sometimes he can repeat himself.
It seems as though he's found his stride at Lanvin and now isn't willing to change the formula.
But that isn't a bad thing- the collection was precise, modest and beautiful- what more can you ask for?
