I’m not sure if it’s the snow or the cold or just my general sense of unease but I’m just not feeling inspired lately. So today I took advantage of being snowed in to to really read some of my favorite blogs (instead of just a quick scan) and poke around the internet for new sources of inspiration. I can be pretty set in my ways so it was nice to find little new things to try this weekend and shake off some winter blues!

Iced White Chocolate Mocha Recipe: This Starbucks copycat turned up in my Pinterest feed this morning and even though it’s snowing out, I thought this iced drink looked cozy. Can’t you imagine just sitting by the fire with a book and a blanket sipping this sweet delight? Head over to The Grant Life for a step-by-step recipe.

What It’s Like To Go On A Juice Cleanse: One of my favorite fellow bloggers, Allyson of Allyson in Wonderland, shared her juice cleanse experience this week. I still don’t think I could handle even a two-day cleanse but Ally handled it (and the accompanying caffeine-headaches) like a pro!

Braid Crown How-To: I’m terrible at braiding. It’s one girlie pursuit that I just never mastered as a kid. The most I can do is pull my hair to one side and twist it into a messy Elsa-like side-braid. So I was excited when Jacquelyn of Lark & Linen recently decided to do a mini-series of braiding techniques! My favorite so far is this braided crown by Lexington & Co. I still haven’t quite got the hang of it but with this step-by-step how-to I’m a lot closer than I was this morning!

What have you been reading/attempting to do this week?
